About Me

My name is Kufre Ekaiko, I didn't set out to be a brand designer!  I got here because I kept noticing when brands didn't feel like themselves. For instance, a logo that didn't match the energy of the business behind it, a favorite local shop with five different looks across their sign, packaging, and Instagram, whatever your actual origin moment was. That gap between what a brand is and what it looks like is still what I chase in every project.

My process starts with questions, not mood boards: who is this brand when no one's watching, and how do we make sure a stranger gets that in three seconds? From there, logo, type, color, the full system, every decision has to earn its place. I'll happily kill a logo I love if it doesn't serve the brand better than a simpler one.

I've built identities for various brands especially TourEast, a Travel and Tour Agency Startup Brand, and the throughline is always the same: I want the work to disappear into the brand, not sit on top of it as decoration.
